You never know where Snail Mail will take you!  I was itching to use my Distress Paints and they work well on smooth tags.  Art Journaling is surely an adventure of trying new techniques and materials and today was no different!  This Snail Mail Tag Card with Washi Tape holds it together.  Initially, I matched the paint colors to my tape, but then changed my mind when the colors dried. Here’s what I used:

Here’s the drill:

  1. Dispense paint onto the craft sheet.
  2. With gloved hands, dip the tags into the paint, twisting gently.
  3. Layer colors until you are delighted with it.
  4. Let dry thoroughly and then stencil image on the tag that will be the front.
  5. Join the tags with washi tape. You may need to use some type of glue to adhere the ornery washi tape. I like the UHU stic.
  6. Paint the inside of the card and let dry.
  7. Stamp text inside.
  8. If desired, apply washi on the inside fold.
  9. Apply black shading around the outside of the card.
  10. Write a note, address, seal, stamp, mail, and smile!

This technique is a super way to use all those beautiful tags that you have in your stash!  Have fun with this Snail Mail Tag Card with Washi Tape.  Thank you for joining me today and be sure to watch my health updates.  Your life matters.  START SOMEWHERE living intentionally.  You can do it.  I will help you.
