Does an apple a day keep the doctor away?  It’s certainly a great place to start!  Apples are loaded fiber and tons of nutrients.  Today we made an Encouragement Card Using Brusho Ink Crystals and Crackle Paste. It was so fun and has a great texture! Follow along!

Here’s what I used:

Here’s the drill:

  1. Apply gesso to paper using an old gift card or gloved hands.
  2. When gesso is dry, arrange stencil on paper and apply the crackle paste through the stencil with a wide palette knife.
  3. When this is completely dry, sprinkle with ink crystals and then mist with water.  From my perspective, less is more!  This is unusual for me at the art table!
  4. When the ink dries, mist with glimmer paste.
  5. Write a note of encouragement, address, stamp, and smile!
  6. Eat an apple and enjoy your creation!

Boy was that fun!  Choose an apple as your snack today to keep those doctors away!  Have fun making this Encouragement Card Using Brusho Ink Crystals and Crackle Paste and thank you for being part of our community where we’re learning to LIVE YOUNGER!
